A structured path to financial clarity

No open-ended retainers before demonstrating value. No ambiguous scope. You know precisely what you are receiving, what it costs, and when it will be done.

01
Discovery consultation
A complimentary 30–60 minute conversation to understand your business, your finance function, and the specific challenge you are facing. This is a diagnostic exercise, not a sales call. You will leave with a clearer picture of your situation regardless of whether we proceed together.

Built for businesses that have outgrown the basics

Bonzer Advisory is selective. The best fit is where financial complexity has outpaced the current finance function and leadership recognises it.

Growth-stage businesses
Companies scaling past their bookkeeper or part-time accountant but not yet at the scale for a full-time CFO. Typically 10–200 employees, increasing reporting complexity, or an imminent milestone requiring senior finance input.
PE-backed and investor-ready companies
Businesses preparing for a raise, reporting to institutional investors, or navigating a private equity transaction that requires institutional-grade financial reporting, controls, and covenant compliance infrastructure.
Businesses at an inflection point
Companies navigating a system migration, first-time audit, complex transaction, or period of rapid change that has exposed gaps in the finance function requiring expert, time-bound remediation.

Bonzer Advisory accepts clients from North America, Australia, the United Kingdom, and internationally. All engagements are delivered remotely as standard. On-site availability can be arranged. If you are unsure whether your situation is the right fit, the discovery consultation will tell you — at no cost and no obligation.

What Bonzer Advisory does and who it is for

A senior finance executive — directly engaged.

Bonzer Advisory was founded on a straightforward premise: growing businesses deserve access to the same calibre of financial expertise as the large corporates they compete with — without a full-time executive overhead.

The practice is led by a senior finance executive and Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) with Big Four foundations and over a decade of progressive leadership across major financial institutions, Fortune 1000 environments, and — most recently — two of the world's most prominent AI companies during their most critical growth phases. Experience spans IFRS, US GAAP, AASB, and UK GAAP across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.

Prior engagements include senior finance leadership at a leading AI research organisation and a major AI infrastructure company during its IPO; stabilisation of a $500M+ billing function for a large US healthcare insurer; and portfolio-wide financial monitoring for a US private equity manager across 20+ companies. Earlier career experience spans Big Four audit across Sydney and London for ASX and FTSE-listed clients, group reporting at a major Australian bank, and finance management at a global financial data group.

What you probably want to know

What size business is this right for?
Bonzer Advisory works best with businesses between roughly 10 and 200 employees that have grown past their bookkeeper or part-time accountant but are not yet at the scale for a full-time CFO. Revenue is less important than financial complexity — if your reporting, controls, or cash flow visibility are creating risk or limiting decisions, this is likely a good fit.
How does the first 30 days work?
Following the discovery consultation, a fixed scope and fee are agreed in writing. Work begins immediately on one clearly defined problem. A documented output is delivered at the end of 30 days — whether that is a rebuilt reporting pack, a controls remediation plan, a technical accounting memo, or a finance function roadmap. There are no surprises on scope or cost.
Do I have to commit to a retainer upfront?
No. The 30-day fix engagement stands on its own. Many clients find that after the initial engagement they want ongoing support, at which point a retainer is discussed. But there is no obligation to continue, and the initial engagement is priced and scoped independently.
How is this different from hiring an accountant or bookkeeper?
A bookkeeper records transactions. An accountant prepares tax returns. A fractional CFO owns the financial strategy, the reporting architecture, and the decisions that flow from them. Bonzer Advisory operates at CFO and controller level — working with your leadership team, your investors, your auditors, and your lenders.
Is this delivered remotely?
Yes. All engagements are delivered remotely as standard. Bonzer Advisory serves clients across North America, Australia, the United Kingdom, and internationally. On-site availability can be arranged for specific engagements where required.
What industries do you work in?
Direct experience spans AI and technology, financial services, private equity, healthcare, mining and resources, energy, telecommunications, real estate, and retail. The core disciplines — reporting, controls, technical accounting, and CFO leadership — are applicable across industries, and the discovery consultation will confirm fit.

Begin with a complimentary consultation

A 30–60 minute conversation — no obligation, no commercial pressure. Your situation will be assessed honestly and you will be told whether and how I can help.

Global · Remote engagements as standard

All enquiries acknowledged within 24 hours

This consultation is best suited for:

Companies with revenue growth, upcoming reporting pressure, audit readiness issues, investor or lender requirements, or a finance leadership gap that needs to be filled before a full-time hire makes sense.

"Good advice begins with understanding the problem — not presenting a solution. You will leave the conversation with a clearer picture of your situation, regardless of what you decide."

Confidentiality: All enquiries and engagement details are treated with strict professional discretion. Information shared in the discovery consultation and any subsequent engagement is held in confidence as standard practice.
