Does any of this sound familiar?

If you recognise yourself in even one of these, you are in the right place.

Cash always feels tight, even when the business is busy.

You are profitable on paper, but somehow the bank account never matches the story.

I don't know which customers or services are actually making me money.

Revenue is going up but profit is staying the same or shrinking.

My month-end takes forever, and I still don't trust the numbers.

By the time you get your reports, the moment to act has passed.

I'm making big decisions on gut feel because the data isn't there.

Hiring, pricing, growth, investment, all guesswork.

Something big is coming, and we're not ready.

A raise, a loan, an audit, a sale. The closer it gets, the more exposed you feel.

I'm working harder than ever and the business still feels out of control.

Growth has outrun the systems that were supposed to support it.

Here's what changes when you have the right finance support

The day-to-day of running your business stops feeling like guesswork.

$

Cash flow you can predict.

Know exactly what is coming in, what is going out, and what you can spend with confidence. No more month-end surprises.

Profit you can see and grow.

Understand exactly where your money is being made and where it is leaking. Make changes that actually move the numbers.

Reports that tell you the truth.

Reliable, on-time financial information that lets you make decisions in real time, not three weeks later.

A senior set of eyes in your corner.

Someone who can stress-test your plans, prepare you for what is coming, and tell you the truth, even when it is hard to hear.

What Bonzer actually does

Senior finance leadership, focused on the four things that matter most for growing businesses.

Cash flow and profit clarity

Understand where your money is going. Know which products, services, and customers are actually profitable. Make pricing and margin decisions based on facts, not feelings.

  • Cash flow forecasting you can rely on
  • Working capital planning
  • Pricing and margin review
  • Profitability analysis by product, service, or customer

Reporting that tells the story

Monthly accounts that mean something. The handful of numbers that actually matter. Reports you can hand to a banker, an investor, or a board without flinching.

  • Monthly management accounts
  • Dashboards built around your business
  • KPI tracking and reviews
  • Board and investor reporting

Ready for what's next

Get prepared for the moments that matter. Raises, audits, bank loans, sales, big hires. Never be caught flat-footed when someone outside the business starts asking real questions.

  • Audit preparation
  • Capital raise readiness
  • Bank loan and lender support
  • Due diligence preparation

A strategic partner

Someone in your corner for the big decisions. Hiring plans, expansion calls, pricing changes, investment choices. A trusted second opinion when it matters most.

  • Long-term financial planning
  • Strategic decision support
  • Hiring and expansion analysis
  • Independent advice when you need it

We're honest about fit

Bonzer Advisory works best with a specific kind of business. Being honest about that saves everyone time.

Bonzer is a great fit if you:

  • Run a business with annual revenue between $1M and $20M
  • Have 5 or more employees and are growing
  • Already have a bookkeeper or accountant
  • Are ready to take the finance side of your business more seriously
  • Are heading into something significant: growth, raise, sale, audit
  • Are willing to invest in the right financial foundation

Bonzer is probably not for you if you:

  • Are a sole trader or very early-stage start-up
  • Just need a bookkeeper or tax accountant (we know good ones we can refer)
  • Are looking for the cheapest option (we are not it)
  • Are not ready to change anything about how you currently run finance

Not sure where you fit? The free 30-minute call will tell you, no obligation.

Why Bonzer Advisory exists

For more than a decade, I have worked inside some of the most demanding finance environments in the world. Major financial institutions. Fortune 1000 companies. Two of the world's leading AI firms. I have seen what excellent finance leadership looks like at the highest level.

But here is what I noticed. The businesses that need that kind of leadership most, the growing companies in the $1M to $20M range, rarely get it. They are stuck between bookkeepers who keep the lights on and full-time CFOs they cannot afford.

That is the gap Bonzer Advisory exists to fill. Every engagement is handled directly by me. No juniors. No outsourcing. When you work with Bonzer, you work with me.

Questions people always ask

Everything you might be wondering, answered up front.

What size businesses do you typically work with? +
Bonzer works best with businesses between $1M and $20M in revenue, typically with 5 to 50 employees. Below that, a good bookkeeper is usually all you need. Above that, a full-time CFO often makes more sense.
How is this different from my existing accountant or bookkeeper? +
Your bookkeeper records what happened. Your accountant handles tax and compliance. Bonzer is the layer above both, helping you understand what the numbers mean, plan what to do next, and make better decisions. We work alongside your existing team, not instead of them.
Do I have to commit to an ongoing partnership upfront? +
No. The 30-day fix engagement stands on its own. Many clients want to start there to see how we work together. If you decide a partnership makes sense afterwards, the minimum is three months, then month-by-month.
How long does a typical engagement last? +
The 30-day fix is exactly that, 30 days. Ongoing partnerships have a three-month minimum but most clients stay for 12 months or longer. You are never locked in beyond what we agreed.
Do you work in person or remotely? +
Almost everything is delivered remotely as standard, using video calls, secure file sharing, and your existing accounting systems. For clients in Toronto or Sydney, in-person meetings can be arranged. Most clients find remote works better than they expected.
What if I'm not sure I'm a good fit? +
That is exactly what the free 30-minute call is for. If Bonzer is not the right answer for your business, I will tell you, and where I can, I will point you to someone who is.
Why a Chartered Accountant for this kind of work? +
The CA designation means rigorous training, real qualifications, and a professional standard. For finance leadership at this level, you want someone who has been properly trained, not just experienced. Bonzer brings both.
What does the first call involve? +
A 30-minute video call. We talk about your business, what is working, what is not, and what is causing you the most stress right now. You leave with a clearer picture of your situation. No pitch, no obligation, no follow-up sales sequence.
